They blew it. Now the largest shopping centre in the universe is being plonked on top of it all and they are committed. WC station is stuck 230m away. (They could have widened Wood Lane while they were at it - it's always at a standstill and the 220 bus is possibly the worst service in London as a result)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6658085720825863941.post-23907663408724328222008-08-01T08:41:00.000+01:002008-08-01T08:41:00.000+01:00No U-turn required, carlos - it looks like the ram...No U-turn required, carlos - it looks like the ramp goes both ways, so you'll be able to turn right out of Wood Lane, down the ramp, past TV Centre, and into White City. What about the obstacle course from the westbound Circle/H&C to the tube lines at Baker Street. Again this new Wood Lane/ White City does not seem to have been given proper consideration. Perhaps these people never actually travel on the system that they are responsible for!Alanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02198251512967178695noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6658085720825863941.post-42593577594214843962008-07-26T01:19:00.000+01:002008-07-26T01:19:00.000+01:00Yes, Wood Lane is very close to White City. I'm not actually sure exactly where the entrance to Wood Lane station will be but I'd be surprised if it was more than about 3 minutes walk from the entrance to White City.

Despite it being outside of the barriers, I anticipate it being an easier interchange than some internal ones, e.g. Bakerloo-Central at Oxford Circus, Bakerloo-Northern at Charing Cross and just about everything at Waterloo.Chris Mhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05644147994206435357noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6658085720825863941.post-55462645310378368082008-07-26T00:33:00.000+01:002008-07-26T00:33:00.000+01:00Why is there no connection with the Central Line? ...Why is there no connection with the Central Line?
